A trader who learned the hard way, so you don't have to
Ryan Jones has taught thousands of traders to trade options the right way. He has a 5-year signals track record with a 94% win rate, including one year without a loss: 54 trades, 54 winners.

How the lessons were learned
At age 16
Ryan Jones took his first trade: an options trade in Phillips Petroleum. He lost a few hundred dollars. It hurt, and it started a drive to learn everything he could about trading and to become a consistently profitable trader.
At age 19
He had learned enough to double a small $5,000 account in one month, a year after marrying his high-school sweetheart and just after the first of his four daughters and a son was born. It did not take long for that account to be nearly wiped out.
At age 22
He grew a $10,000 account to more than $23,000 over four months with a futures system he built on paper charts that arrived by mail and were updated by hand each week. Then the same account shrank to $2,500 in 30 days. He took six months off to analyse every trade, and found the answer: consistency had nothing to do with entries and exits, and everything to do with trade size.
